Methodology
Note: This test is for medical use only and screens only for the following drug classes: amphetamines (includes methamphetamines and methylenedioxymethamphetamine [MDMA]), barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine metabolites, methadone, opiates, oxycodone, phencyclidine, propoxyphene, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC-marijuana) and tricyclic antidepressant.

Specimen Requirements
5 mL from a random urine collection. No preservative. Send
specimen refrigerated.
Note: 1. Indicate random urine on request
form.
2. Label specimen appropriately (urine).
3. Follow instructions in “Urine Collection—Decatur” in “Special Instructions.”
