Note: This test is not orderable by itself. A #STL CULT “Culture, Stool” must be performed and Shigella species isolated before this test can be ordered. This test will be performed at an additional charge.

Specimen Requirements
Organisms isolated on agar slant. Agar slant will be placed in special mailing container and sent on to Alabama State Laboratory in Montgomery.
