Preferred: Lithium heparin (light green-top)
Acceptable: Serum Gel
Draw blood, spin down and send 0.5 mL of plasma or serum.
Reference Values
Males: 4.0-15.2 ng/mL
Females: 4.8-23.3 ng/mL
