Specimen Requirements

Draw blood in a grey-top (potassium oxalate/sodium fluoride) tube and place on wet ice immediately.  (Do not use a tourniguet.)  Spin down within 15 minutes of collection, separate and send 2 mLs of plasma refrigerated.
