Specimen Requirements
Plain, red-top tube and a lavender-top (EDTA) tube are required for this test.
Draw a full, plain, red-top tube and a full, lavender-top (EDTA) tube. (Serum gel tube is not acceptable.) Do not remove serum. Send entire whole blood specimens refrigerated. Avoid hemolysis.
