Testing Algorithm:If HHA1266 “Hepatitis C Antibody (Anti-HCV)” by ECLIA is positive, then HHA1506 “Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) RNA Detection and Quantification by Real-Time Reverse Transcription-PCR (RT-PCR)” will automatically be performed at an additional charge.

Specimen Requirements
Draw blood in a serum gel tube(s). Aseptically spin down within 1 hour of draw and send 2 mL of serum refrigerated.
