If collagen/epinephrine is >172 seconds, the collagen/ADP (adenosine diphosphate) will be automatically reflexed.

Specimen must arrive within 2 hours of draw.

Draw blood in a blue-top (citrate) tube(s), and send 4.5 mL of citrate whole blood. Do not centrifuge. Specimen cannot be “tubed” to laboratory.
