Specimen Requirements
Specimen must arrive within 24 hours of draw.
Draw blood in a dark green-top (sodium heparin) tube(s), and send 1 mL (pediatric: 0.5 mL) of heparinized whole blood refrigerated. Avoid exposure of specimen to atmosphere.
