Prepare venipuncture site with Betadine® prior to draw.

Draw blood in a green-top (lithium heparin) tube(s), or a plain, red-top tube(s), or a serum gel tube(s), and send 2 mL of whole blood.

Note: 1. A non-alcohol germicide must be used to cleanse the skin.
2. Do not use alcohol wipes for venipuncture.
