1. Place acceptable specimen (sputum, gastric, urine, stool, BAL or bronchial washings) in leakproof sterile container.
2. Label container with patient’s information, date and actual time of collection, and site of collection.
Note: Specimen source is required on request form for processing.

Critical value: Any positive result
